Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, manage, and optimize scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant AWS infrastructure.
- Build, maintain, and optimize Kubernetes clusters and workloads for containerized applications.
- Implement configuration management and automation using Ansible and related frameworks.
- Configure secure networking, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, DNS, load balancers, and VPNs.
- Develop and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Implement monitoring and logging, troubleshoot issues, and manage incidents across development, testing, and production environments.
- Improve CI/CD pipelines with development teams and promote DevOps best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of professional experience in DevOps or related roles.
- Expert knowledge of AWS, including EKS and API Gateway.
- Strong experience with Linux/Unix systems, including Red Hat- and Debian-based systems.
- Proficiency with Kubernetes and hands-on experience with Ansible.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts including DNS, load balancers, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Expertise with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or AWS CodePipeline.
- Strong scripting skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack and Grafana.
- Strong understanding of SSL standards and encryption.
- AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, or DevOps Engineer are preferred.
- Experience with security compliance frameworks and tools, high-throughput environments, microservices architecture, HIPAA, PCI DSS, or SOCII is preferred.
