Base Salary
$157k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on Stepful’s learning management system, including adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational features.
- Build generative-AI-powered career services such as resume generation and interview training.
- Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
- Build content management technology that supports scalable, adaptable curriculum creation.
- Develop reliable data pipelines and make data accessible for business, learning, and operations teams.
- Own the full development lifecycle while working across the frontend and backend.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Ability to take ownership of the full development lifecycle and work comfortably across the stack.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
- Interest in solving complex problems, learning new technology, and working in an early-stage company.
- Direct-to-consumer startup experience, especially in EdTech or healthcare, is preferred.
