Base Salary
$140k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement physical infrastructure management software, availability platforms, and frameworks for customers hosted on Crusoe’s AI infrastructure.
- Build reliable, scalable, secure, and efficient cloud platforms and systems for production use.
- Develop workflows, interfaces, platforms, and automation tooling for cloud deployment, configuration management, and operations.
- Design highly available cloud architectures optimized for performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional development, development operations, and engineering teams to support integration, deployment, and platform adoption.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team growth with engineering managers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant industry experience and 5+ years building and operating distributed systems at scale.
- Experience building, operating, and troubleshooting reliable, scalable, efficient, and secure cloud platforms in production.
- Fluency in one or more of Go, Rust, Java, or C++.
- Understanding of cloud security best practices and secure configuration implementation.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Collaborative approach to working with development and operations teams.
- Bonus: hands-on experience deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters.
- Bonus: experience in a fast-paced startup environment and interest in energy-efficient AI infrastructure and sustainability.
