Responsibilities
- Develop and engineer end-to-end system features from user experience through backend code.
- Design and implement event-driven, real-time data streaming solutions using Apache Kafka.
- Integrate Apache Kafka with backend microservices and troubleshoot or optimize Kafka clusters for performance and reliability.
- Act as a subject matter expert, make team decisions, and provide solutions across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts and support timely delivery of project milestones.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship while improving development processes and product quality.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience is required.
- At least 5 years of experience with Apache Kafka is required.
- Proficiency in Apache Kafka, event-driven architecture, real-time data streaming, distributed systems, and message brokering concepts.
- Familiarity with backend development frameworks and Apache Kafka integration with microservices.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and containerization technologies for scalable deployments.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
