Responsibilities
- Lead and contribute to Neo4j implementations across the full project lifecycle, from initial design through production rollout.
- Act as a technical subject matter expert and trusted advisor during customer consulting engagements.
- Design and implement graph data models for complex relationships, querying, and analytics.
- Architect and build solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements using Neo4j.
- Structure graph data for advanced analytics, search, RAG, GraphRAG, and other AI-powered architectures.
- Integrate Neo4j with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain and LlamaIndex.
- Advise customers on data engineering and optimize data ingestion patterns into Neo4j.
- Develop solution architectures and translate complex technical concepts for customer engineers and stakeholders.
- Contribute to solution proposals, level-of-effort assessments, statements of work, and technical recommendations.
- Train and mentor customer teams on Neo4j best practices and graph development techniques.
- Collaborate with Neo4j sales, sales engineering, and support teams to achieve customer outcomes.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Requirements
- Fluency in Brazilian Portuguese and proficiency in English are required; Spanish fluency or advanced proficiency is a strong plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a master's degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience designing and developing enterprise-class applications, especially data-driven or analytics-focused systems.
- Strong experience in data modeling and designing data structures for complex applications, with familiarity with relational, NoSQL, or graph databases.
- Experience designing scalable software architectures and working in modern application development environments.
- Practical data engineering experience, including structuring and optimizing data for search, analytics, or AI-driven applications.
- Hands-on competence in at least one of Java, JavaScript, Python, Go, or C#.
- Experience deploying applications on Linux, Docker, or Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with source control and development workflows using Git.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, presentation, independent-work, collaboration, and customer relationship skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and travel to client sites as needed.
- Two or more years of consultative experience in a Professional Services organization is a bonus.
- Experience with Neo4j, TigerGraph, JanusGraph, or similar graph databases is a bonus.
- Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, Couchbase, or Teradata is a bonus.
- Experience with data science projects and packages such as SciLearn, Keras, or TensorFlow is a bonus.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform is a bonus.
