Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable data platform and data-intensive system solutions.
- Work with product, analytics, and engineering teams to understand business challenges and deliver pragmatic solutions.
- Enable fast, iterative analytics while maintaining reliability, cost, and security foundations.
- Take ownership of defined areas, gather context, align stakeholders, and ensure work is delivered effectively.
- Contribute to cloud infrastructure, infrastructure as code, ETL, observability, and platform improvements.
- Manage multiple workstreams and improve ways of working, including the use of AI tooling.
Requirements
- Solid programming ability in Python or a similar language.
- Strong experience with Snowflake or similar data warehouses.
- Good understanding of software engineering patterns and architectures.
- Experience building data-intensive systems.
- Cloud experience, preferably with AWS.
- Experience with infrastructure as code, ideally Terraform.
- Familiarity with CI/CD best practices and modern data architectures such as Lambda or Kappa.
- Strong problem-solving, ownership, communication, prioritization, and judgment skills.
- Ability to work effectively in ambiguity and balance speed with scalability and reliability.
