Responsibilities
- Solve complex technical problems and build scalable solutions.
- Partner with product managers, architects, and engineers on technical planning and system design.
- Serve as a technical resource for complex architecture and design decisions.
- Own root-cause analysis and durable fixes for complex system issues.
- Mentor engineers through code reviews, design discussions, and day-to-day guidance.
- Own technically demanding projects from design through delivery.
- Evolve reliable and scalable core infrastructure and improve automation, testing, and deployment practices.
- Contribute to product-direction decisions and work across multiple systems or teams.
Requirements
- A BSc in Computer Science or equivalent degree, or an exceptional track record in server-side development with advanced technical expertise.
- At least 8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Deep expertise in one or more of C/C++, C#, Java, Go, or Python, with the ability to learn new technologies.
- Extensive experience building highly scalable distributed systems and understanding microservices architecture, API design, and cloud-native development.
- Experience designing and deploying services at scale on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Strong technical judgment and experience mentoring engineers and influencing product-direction decisions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver reliably under tight deadlines.
