Base Salary
$90k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Create quality-coded tools and frameworks to simplify testing scenarios.
- Design, develop, execute, and analyze test plans and test cases based on functional and design specifications.
- Build efficient testing solutions for web applications, services/APIs, and databases.
- Partner with development teams to deliver functionality that meets acceptance criteria and required quality.
- Lead testing activities by planning work, assigning tasks, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring best practices and schedules are followed.
- Participate in requirements, architecture, design, technical, functional, and project-scoping reviews with an emphasis on automation and performance strategy.
- Perform functional, system, regression, exploratory, data quality, and performance testing.
- Capture quality metrics, perform risk analysis, and report test results, defects, and conclusions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in software testing or development, including testing, coding, and debugging.
- Experience programming with Python, Java, or other languages.
- Experience designing and developing automated tests with tools such as Selenium and Appium across UI, service, and data layers.
- Experience refactoring and extending test automation and performance frameworks and suites.
- Experience with SOAP and REST services and understanding of SOA architecture.
- Experience with distributed source control such as Git and with SQL/PL-SQL, queries, stored procedures, and relational databases.
- Experience with data quality testing, test data management, automated test coverage mapping, test plans, test cases, exploratory testing, and defect reporting.
- Experience with performance testing tools such as HP LoadRunner, Performance Center, StormRunner, or JMeter.
- Strong technical communication, documentation, presentation, problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent is preferred.
- Experience with CI, DevOps, rolling deployment or upgrade models, cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure, microservices, and containers such as Docker is a plus.
