Responsibilities
- Implement, enhance, and document IAM solutions using ForgeRock, Okta, Ping Identity, or SailPoint.
- Develop and maintain authentication, authorization, federation, and user identity lifecycle capabilities.
- Provide architectural direction, technical design, and end-to-end delivery for IAM APIs and microservices.
- Build OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and SAML integrations with robust token, session, and policy management.
- Apply secure coding practices aligned with OWASP standards and contribute to SDLC security controls.
- Perform unit, component, system integration, and regression validation throughout the software lifecycle.
- Contribute to infrastructure-as-code automated pipelines and DevOps engineering.
- Use AI-assisted tools for code generation, documentation, log analysis, troubleshooting, secure code review, dependency analysis, and test generation.
- Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and IAM support to internal teams.
- Partner with enterprise developers and analysts on identity, access governance, and role-based access control solutions.
- Support production services through monitoring, debugging, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience across all phases of the SDLC.
- Strong hands-on experience with IAM platforms including ForgeRock AM/IDM, Okta, Ping Identity, or SailPoint.
- Expertise in Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot, Spring Integration, Spring Batch, and Spring WebFlow.
- Strong understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful APIs, and OpenAPI specification.
- Familiarity with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and related security protocols.
- Experience with Eclipse, IntelliJ, Jenkins, GitLab, Sonar, Fortify, JIRA, and Confluence for development, build, deployment, and collaboration.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with relational and non-relational databases using JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with Docker, PCF, and Kubernetes.
- Ability to use AI-enabled engineering tools and GenAI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT Enterprise.
- Strong analytical and communication skills for solving complex IAM challenges.
- Experience in payments or financial services is preferred.
- JavaScript development experience is preferred.
- Exposure to identity governance, RBAC, entitlement models, and AI/ML insights for anomaly detection, access pattern analysis, or policy optimization is preferred.
