Responsibilities
- Hunt for vulnerabilities in CPU and GPU microarchitecture, memory management, execution pipelines, and low-level code.
- Research side channels, architectural logic flaws, and hardware-software interface vulnerabilities.
- Discover vulnerabilities and develop exploits at the operating-system and hypervisor levels.
- Analyze GPU architectures, driver interfaces, compute batching, and memory isolation.
- Apply reverse engineering, dynamic analysis, and debugging techniques to Apple products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or a related engineering field.
- Experience with modern CPU architectures, including pipeline stages, caching mechanisms, MMU, or speculative execution.
- Experience with low-level software using C, C++, or Assembly.
- Experience discovering vulnerabilities or developing exploits at the OS/hypervisor level or in hardware-software interfaces.
- Preferred: 10+ years of relevant industry experience.
- Preferred: familiarity with ARM v8/v9 or x86 instruction sets, GPU architectures, operating-system internals, and kernel architecture.
- Preferred: experience with Verilog/VHDL, pre-silicon security validation, or confidential computing environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with security implications of AI/ML hardware accelerators and GPU workloads such as PagedAttention or Mixture of Experts.
- Preferred: familiarity with IDA Pro, Ghidra, and dynamic analysis/debugging tools.
