Responsibilities
- Lead complex AI/ML engagements from strategic planning through pre-production deployment and optimization.
- Architect and implement AI/ML solutions using AWS services, particularly Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior consultants and drive delivery best practices.
- Translate customer business challenges into measurable ML outcomes and delivery roadmaps.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate stakeholders on high-impact AI solutions.
- Contribute to applied AI/ML methodologies, reusable solutions, and internal and external thought leadership.
- Support pre-sales activities, project scoping, technical reviews, and risk assessment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or experience in a professional or military field.
- Experience as a technical specialist in design and architecture.
- Experience with databases such as SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or Kinesis.
- Experience consulting on, designing, and implementing serverless distributed solutions.
- Experience with software development using an object-oriented language.
- Experience with cloud-based solutions, systems, networks, and operating systems using AWS or an equivalent platform.
- Experience with customer-facing complex, large-scale project management.
- Experience building highly scalable systems involving predictive models or machine learning applications.
- Experience in data engineering, machine learning engineering, and cloud-native technologies.
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Clearance.
- Preferred: master's degree in a quantitative field or a PhD.
- Preferred: knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ELB, RDS, VPC, Route 53, and S3.
- Preferred: experience with software development life cycle, agile or iterative methodologies, senior-leadership discussions, and technical communication.
- Preferred: Python experience and hands-on work with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, or MXNet.
