Base Salary
$121k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain backend, application, and data integrations connecting NOS to internal systems, partner APIs, and external data sources.
- Own CI/CD pipelines and release tooling to make deployments repeatable, tested, traceable, and efficient.
- Build and maintain the unified front-end interface used by product teams.
- Monitor platform performance, resolve bottlenecks, manage configuration baselines, and perform platform maintenance.
- Help structure NOS data and design Model Context Protocol interfaces for safe AI-agent access to platform data.
- Collaborate with data scientists, AI/ML engineers, product engineers, and nuclear domain experts while writing production code, reviewing pull requests, and debugging across the stack.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building and running production backend or platform systems.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent production experience.
- Strong coding ability in at least one backend language such as Python, Go, Java, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience building and owning CI/CD pipelines and integrations between systems, including APIs, event streams, and data pipelines.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider, preferably AWS, plus configuration management and infrastructure as code.
- Working knowledge of data modeling and data flows between systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience with Palantir Foundry, Databricks, Snowflake, Model Context Protocol, React, OT/IT integration, SCADA interfaces, industrial data, or regulated and safety-critical industries.
