Base Salary
$129k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the deployment and lifecycle management of a containerized workspace streaming platform on Kubernetes.
- Design and maintain custom Docker images and VM images for various applications.
- Operate and scale Kubernetes clusters and cloud resources, including capacity planning and patching.
- Manage networking and ingress, including TLS certificate management and secure routing.
- Build CI/CD pipelines for automating image builds and deployments.
- Monitor platform health and investigate incidents to optimize performance.
- Document operational procedures and mentor other engineers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or application support role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments.
- Deep Docker expertise, including authoring multi-stage Dockerfiles.
- Solid Linux systems administration skills, preferably with Ubuntu or Debian.
- Working knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong networking fundamentals, including TLS, DNS, and load balancers.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes deployments.
