Responsibilities
- Lead and execute automation, manual, API, functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end automated test scenarios and optimize testing tools and environments.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, QA, and other stakeholders to plan and validate testing activities.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, perform root cause analysis, document findings, and resolve quality and performance issues.
- Improve testing processes, automation frameworks, methodologies, and overall QA efficiency.
- Research and implement testing tools, emerging technologies, and industry best practices.
- Conduct project quality reviews and maintain testing documentation, metrics, defect tracking, and audit records.
- Support strategic quality assurance initiatives, adapt to changing priorities, and mentor where needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of Quality Test Engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development lifecycle, process improvement, and software testing best practices.
- Subject matter expertise in automation testing using the Behave Framework, manual testing, API testing, functional testing, and regression testing.
- Hands-on experience designing and developing end-to-end automated test scenarios and executing complex automation and performance testing.
- Experience with testing tool administration, environment configuration, defect tracking, root cause analysis, and test reporting.
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of budget considerations, industry trends, quality metrics, compliance requirements, and dynamic work environments.
