Technical Strategist (Solution Architect)

Responsibilities

  • Author, review, and communicate solution architectures and specifications with development teams and engineering leadership.
  • Champion Propellerhead’s technical strategy and align client solution design and implementation with that strategy.
  • Build trusted relationships with client decision-makers and explain solution designs to client technologists.
  • Serve as the primary technical contact for client solutions, including delivery prerequisites and operational improvements.
  • Develop strategies supporting speed-to-value, security, reliability, maintainability, performance, and functional fit.
  • Facilitate the evolution of the codebase from C# to Rust and guide AI-assisted requirements, testing, and code generation.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of experience developing multi-tier and distributed applications.
  • Extensive experience leading the design of complex software applications, preferably enterprise solutions combining existing services and custom development.
  • Essential previous experience with React and C#, plus confidence working with TypeScript, Java, Go, and Rust.
  • Hands-on experience designing solutions on Azure, participating in CI/CD pipeline development, and instrumenting systems for operations.
  • Strong AI-assisted development experience, including rapid prototyping and directing AI-assisted requirements, testing, and code generation.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with senior client stakeholders and the ability to connect technical solutions with business needs.
  • Experience with streaming and messaging platforms such as Kafka or NATS is highly desirable.
  • Experience or demonstrable interest in digital identity, verifiable credentials, open banking, AI agent authorization, or edge/device-based software deployment.
