Responsibilities
- Lead technical design and implementation of complex front-end solutions across multiple applications and teams.
- Develop and maintain enterprise web applications using React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Web Components, HTML5, and CSS.
- Lead reusable UI frameworks, component libraries, design-system implementations, and shared platform capabilities.
- Drive architecture decisions, framework governance, technical standards, modernization, and technical-debt reduction.
- Build responsive, accessible, scalable, and performant user experiences integrated with REST APIs and Backend-for-Frontend layers.
- Establish automated unit, integration, end-to-end, and visual regression testing practices.
- Improve application performance, reliability, security, observability, and production issue resolution.
- Promote continuous delivery, pipeline automation, release planning, feature flags, progressive delivery, and automated quality gates.
- Use AI-assisted engineering tools and contribute to developer productivity and design-to-code initiatives.
- Mentor software engineers, lead technical communities, and influence technical direction without direct people-management responsibilities.
- Coordinate technical strategy and execution across architecture, engineering, product, UX, design, platform, cloud, and DevOps stakeholders.
Requirements
- 12–16 years of software engineering experience with deep front-end development expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience with React, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Web Components.
- Experience leading large-scale front-end initiatives and complex technical programs.
- Experience building reusable frameworks, component libraries, design-system-driven applications, and scalable enterprise web applications.
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and distributed application design.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience.
- Preferred experience with Next.js SSR, SSG, or ISR; Lit or Stencil; micro-front-end platforms; enterprise design systems; Azure or AWS; AI-assisted development tools; Storybook; and React Native.
- Preferred familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT, or equivalent AI-assisted development tools.
