Responsibilities
- Understand client requirements, analyze system flows and processes, and translate requirements into feasible software designs.
- Develop, modify, debug, and maintain software programs and modules for operating systems or applications.
- Design and execute test cases, usage scenarios, and software validation processes to ensure error-free code and quality compliance.
- Investigate system issues, perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot customer queries, and recommend performance or system improvements.
- Support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring while meeting release schedules and implementation targets.
- Create technical documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, reports, code comments, and project status updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineering staff, functional teams, systems analysts, customers, and stakeholders.
- Capture client clarifications, gather feedback, respond to customer requests, and support timely delivery and positive customer experience.
- Participate in continuing education and training to learn new programming languages and maintain current best practices.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of experience in Network Operations - Utilities.
- Experience designing, coding, testing, debugging, modifying, and maintaining software programs or modules.
- Ability to analyze requirements, system flows, data usage, work processes, and software development feasibility.
- Ability to develop automated software validation processes and execute test cases or usage scenarios.
- Ability to perform root-cause analysis, troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and evaluate software-hardware interfaces.
- Ability to produce accurate technical documentation, reports, project specifications, and status updates.
- Ability to coordinate with clients and cross-functional teams and maintain effective customer communication.
- Ability to participate in continuing education, learn new programming languages, and complete assigned certifications.
