Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and support scalable full-stack applications.
- Build backend services with Python, Django, and Django ORM, including models, relationships, migrations, transactions, and database interactions.
- Develop reusable React frontend components and integrate them with REST APIs.
- Design database schemas, relationships, queries, and data access layers using PostgreSQL and/or MySQL.
- Deploy and support applications in AWS and manage containerized applications with Docker.
- Explore AI-powered solutions, AI agents, and workflow automation to improve engineering, operational, and business processes.
- Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- 5–8 years of software development experience.
- Hands-on experience with Python, Django, Django ORM or ORM concepts, React, AWS, Docker, PostgreSQL and/or MySQL, Git, and production application troubleshooting.
- Experience developing REST APIs, integrating frontend applications, and applying authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and API security practices.
- Experience with relational database design, joins, indexes, transactions, SQL queries, query optimization, and ORM-related performance troubleshooting.
- Strong JavaScript and modern frontend development experience; TypeScript is preferred.
- Flask and/or FastAPI experience is advantageous.
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, or SNS is preferred.
- .NET/C#, ASP.NET Core/.NET, CI/CD pipelines, microservices, distributed systems, monitoring, or observability experience is advantageous.
- Experience or strong interest in AI/Generative AI, including AI agents, LLM applications, AI APIs, tool or function calling, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, vector databases, or AI orchestration frameworks, is desirable.
- Ability to work across technology stacks and learn new languages, frameworks, platforms, and tools.
