Responsibilities
- Define and drive QA strategy, test plans, and automation standards.
- Build and maintain UI and API automation using Selenium or Playwright with Java.
- Review test cases, automation scripts, and defect reports while tracking automation coverage and quality metrics.
- Debug manual and automated testing issues, perform defect root-cause analysis, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures.
- Collaborate with Development, Product, and DevOps teams to support seamless delivery.
- Work with Maven, Linux/Unix systems, Jenkins, and Docker in automation and build workflows.
Requirements
- 5–7 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong expertise in UI and API automation testing with Selenium or Playwright and Java.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and automation framework design principles.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum environments, Git, Jira, qTest or equivalent tools, and CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Experience with TDD, BDD, Gherkin, and Cucumber.
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, analysis, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and the Maven build lifecycle.
- Experience with Jenkins, Docker, and CI/CD practices.
- Scripting experience with Bash or Python and familiarity with Prometheus, Gatling, or JMeter are preferred.
