Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements and business objectives to propose effective technical solutions.
- Prepare effort estimates, technical approach documents, quotes, risk assessments, and high-level functional and technical approaches.
- Develop, code, unit-test, peer-review, and maintain software solutions.
- Plan and manage releases, rollouts, patches, schedules, and release notes.
- Provide technical inputs and high-level estimates for pre-sales activities.
- Investigate, triage, and resolve defects and issues with code fixes and unit testing within defined SLAs.
- Provide on-site or remote go-live, dry-run, testing, and deployment support across customer time zones.
- Coordinate and deliver product or solution demonstrations to clients.
- Provide technical guidance to assigned engineers and support end-to-end project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline; MCA or MSc in Computer Science is also accepted.
- 5 to 7.5 years of total experience.
- Experience with Java, Ext JS, JavaScript, and PL/SQL.
- Prior experience with Blue Yonder, JDA, RedPrairie WMS, or other WMS platforms is advantageous.
- Experience in test management and test execution.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and software development best practices.
- Experience with build processes, IDEs, database tools, source code control, operating systems, command-line usage, and JIRA.
- Ability to evaluate competing solutions, make informed decisions, provide technical guidance, and collaborate effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to build professional relationships.
