Responsibilities
- Architect and implement distributed systems for network-level security controls, including policy management, ACL enforcement, distributed firewalls, and DDoS/network protection.
- Develop microservices for network security platforms across cloud infrastructure and distributed platform layers.
- Research and implement networking security solutions for intra- and cross-region network flows.
- Build, operate, test, monitor, deploy, and maintain security platforms in a full DevOps model.
- Provide code reviews and mentorship while delivering production-grade software.
- Use AI development tools and structured prompts to produce secure, optimized, and high-quality code.
- Design systems in which AI agents integrate with human workflows and maintain shared system context for reliable AI operation.
- Evaluate human- and AI-generated code for correctness, quality, security, and performance.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS software development experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in a high-availability 24/7 environment; cloud platform experience is a plus.
- A related technical degree is required.
- Proficiency in Go, Java, C++, or Python.
- Demonstrated AI-first engineering approach and experience using tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Codex, or Cursor.
- Advanced prompt engineering skills and ability to create precise prompts and reliable system context.
- Preferred qualifications include network security platform experience, cloud network architecture, cloud security services, container networking, service mesh, networking protocols, authentication frameworks, secure transport, identity management, and DevOps operations.
