Base Salary

$158k - $232k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Advise private equity firms, portfolio companies, and startups on multi-cloud Salesforce and Agentforce solutions.
  • Lead discovery, value-framing, and executive conversations with investors, operators, founders, and C-suite leaders.
  • Design and deliver tailored demos, prototypes, and proofs of concept showing AI agents working alongside people.
  • Develop repeatable AI and data playbooks that support portfolio-wide value creation, revenue growth, operational efficiency, and exit readiness.
  • Help venture-backed and AI-native startups build scalable go-to-market and enterprise operations platforms.
  • Coordinate with Relationship Management, solution architects, industry specialists, Agentforce experts, and Data 360 experts on account strategy and deal execution.
  • Build expertise in Salesforce products, agentic AI, data strategy, and AI governance.
  • Create thought leadership, reference architectures, demo environments, and enablement content for private equity and startup audiences.
  • Represent Salesforce at private equity and startup events, summits, forums, roundtables, and executive dinners.
  • Mentor and enable fellow Solution Engineers and maintain relevant certifications.
  • Travel as needed to private equity headquarters, portfolio company sites, and startup hubs across the United States.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering, or solution consulting for enterprise software, ideally in executive-facing engagements.
  • Business acumen and financial fluency concerning private equity value creation, startup scaling, EBITDA, growth, and valuation.
  • Hands-on understanding of generative and agentic AI and the ability to explain its business value and limitations.
  • Credibility with senior investors, operators, founders, and other executives, with the ability to lead complex multi-stakeholder conversations.
  • Strong storytelling, demonstration, and whiteboarding skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, CRM, data platforms, or AI solutions is preferred.
  • Experience in or alongside private equity, venture-backed companies, or financial services is highly valued.
  • Ability to maintain relevant certifications and stay current with Salesforce innovation, AI developments, and private markets trends.
