Responsibilities
- Support and improve CI/CD pipeline tools for development teams.
- Develop infrastructure-as-code tools to deploy development environments.
- Containerize applications to improve deployment processes and resilience.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Improve infrastructure scalability and disaster recovery capabilities.
- Collaborate with development and quality assurance teams to streamline workflows.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests.
- Apply security benchmarking practices and manage development resources and access controls.
- Develop internal tooling and self-service solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Build relationships with development teams and support shared engineering goals.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or Information Security, or equivalent experience.
- At least two years of experience in a DevOps position.
- At least three years of experience in software engineering.
- At least two years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Production experience running Kubernetes or EKS.
- Competence in at least one scripting language such as Bash, Python, or Go; Go is preferred.
- Familiarity with CircleCI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab.
- Professional experience with Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with Git.
- Experience with monitoring tools, APM, logging, and infrastructure.
- Brief experience working with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift.
