Responsibilities
- Support and improve CI/CD pipeline tools for development teams.
- Build relationships with development teams to achieve common goals.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems and networks.
- Develop tools for deploying infrastructure as code.
- Containerize applications to enhance deployment and resilience.
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to streamline workflows.
- Ensure infrastructure scalability and disaster recovery.
- Respond promptly to service issues and requests.
- Understand security benchmarking.
- Manage development resources and access controls.
- Occasionally work after hours.
- Develop internal tools to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Four-year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2 years of experience in a DevOps position.
- 3 years of experience in Software Engineering.
- 2 years of experience with Amazon Web Services.
- Experience running Kubernetes / EKS in production environments.
- Proficient in at least one scripting language, preferably GOLang.
- Familiarity with CI tools like CircleCI, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Professional experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, and Chef.
- Strong knowledge of orchestrator tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation.
- Experience with GIT.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, APM, logging, and infrastructure.
- Brief experience with MySQL, Amazon Aurora, and Redshift.
