Base Salary
$128k - $192k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with client stakeholders to understand commercial use cases and deliver rapid prototypes and proofs of concept.
- Collaborate with commercial and medical affairs teams, product managers, business leads, and designers to translate client needs into engineering solutions.
- Develop high-quality code, data pipelines, and model integrations for rapid experimentation.
- Build and refine scalable production-ready systems using LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, search frameworks, and multimodal GenAI capabilities.
- Conduct demos, gather client feedback, and iterate solutions to maximize adoption and impact.
- Transition successful prototypes into scalable product features with senior engineers, product managers, and designers.
- Contribute to engineering best practices, documentation, and shared tooling.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Node.js, React.js, Python, and cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Experience building or integrating AI/ML and GenAI systems.
- Strong communication skills and comfort engaging with nontechnical client stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in dynamic, client-facing environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience with Life Sciences or Biotech companies is strongly preferred.
