Base Salary
$300k - $400k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build systems that enable autonomous buildings to operate and communicate intelligently
- Work directly with customers to develop and own product features from design through deployment
- Improve the scalability and reliability of core infrastructure
- Propose and implement improvements to architecture and design patterns
- Collaborate with product and design to turn AI capabilities into user-facing experiences
- Continuously ship new features and improvements in an environment deploying more than 100 times per day
- Apply engineering best practices in testing, observability, and continuous integration
- Balance speed and quality while iterating on production systems
Requirements
- Experience leading the design, delivery, and long-term ownership of multiple production-grade products
- Strong ownership, urgency, pragmatism, and a startup mindset
- Ability to solve complex problems independently with minimal guidance
- Bias for action and ability to move quickly from idea to implementation
- Solid understanding of system design and scalable architecture principles
- At least 6 years of coding experience
- Willingness to work in person at the office 4–5 days per week
- AWS experience is preferred
