Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance back-end features and cloud applications.
- Architect microservices and scalable cloud solutions while optimizing performance and addressing memory leaks.
- Build prototypes, perform root-cause analysis, and translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Review designs and code, approve solution approaches, and ensure code quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, Backend Engineering, SDET, QA, and Support teams.
- Provide technical mentorship, career guidance, knowledge sharing, and assistance with manager reviews.
- Drive adoption of tools, frameworks, and development practices that improve efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional back-end development experience and 8+ years of software design experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience developing and architecting cloud applications, infrastructure, microservices, and scalable cloud applications.
- Strong experience with core Java, JEE, JSON, REST APIs, Spring, Hibernate, and enterprise applications.
- Experience with performance tuning, memory-leak analysis, troubleshooting, and debugging web applications.
- Experience with SQL and database servers including MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and CDB.
- Experience with Git or SVN, Gradle or Maven, and continuous integration and delivery processes.
- Knowledge of data structures, XML and JSON processing, threading, socket programming, IPC, OOP, design patterns, TDD, IoC, DI, and serialization/deserialization.
- Experience with logging, unit testing, mocking frameworks, and testing tools including Log4j, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, EasyMock, and RestAssured.
- Strong communication, collaboration, analytical, problem-solving, mentorship, and technical leadership skills.
- MCA, B.E., M.Tech, or equivalent education and relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes Azure, Amazon Cloud, NoSQL, big data, Spring Boot, Netflix OSS, frontend technologies, RPA or APA platforms, CI/CD deployment processes, Playwright, and Cypress.
