Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable, high-quality, performance-oriented backend features and systems.
- Design and architect microservices and scalable cloud applications and infrastructure.
- Build prototypes, investigate solution approaches, and perform root-cause analysis and performance tuning.
- Write clean, maintainable, efficient code and conduct design and code reviews.
- Drive adoption of tools, frameworks, and methodologies that improve development efficiency and code performance.
- Collaborate with Product Management, UX, backend engineering, SDET, QA, and Support teams to deliver features.
- Provide technical mentorship, career guidance, knowledge sharing, and support for manager reviews.
- Work independently on projects and translate requirements into technical solutions and user experiences.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional backend development experience.
- 8+ years of experience designing software in a fast-paced environment is desired.
- Experience developing and architecting cloud applications, infrastructure, microservices, and scalable cloud applications.
- Strong knowledge of core Java, JEE, JSON, REST APIs, JAX-RS, Spring, and Spark Java.
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, SQL queries, and database servers including MSSQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, and CDB.
- Experience with Log4j, JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, EasyMock, and RestAssured.
- Experience with Git or SVN, Gradle or Maven, and continuous integration and delivery.
- Knowledge of data structures, XML and JSON processing, threading, socket programming, IPC, OOP, design patterns, TDD, IoC, DI, and serialization/deserialization.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, communication, analytical, collaboration, and mentoring abilities.
- MCA, B.E., M.Tech, or equivalent qualification or relevant experience.
- Preferred experience includes NoSQL, big data, Azure Cloud, Amazon Cloud, RPA or APA platforms, frontend technologies, CI/CD deployment processes, Playwright, and Cypress.
