Base Salary
$150k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with traders and on-desk staff to understand analytical needs and improve trading performance.
- Design and maintain modular, scalable data architectures for future analysis.
- Implement and maintain ETL pipelines and data warehouse solutions.
- Ensure high data quality for analytical trading datasets.
- Promote data standards covering modular design, testing, and documentation.
- Promote visual standards covering modular design, testing, and documentation.
- Develop simple, scalable technical solutions and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Requirements
- Experience designing and developing big data warehouses and ETL pipelines.
- Proven knowledge of SQL and Python.
- Experience integrating data across RDBMS, NoSQL, and time-series platforms.
- Experience with real-time messaging systems such as Kafka, Kinesis, and Pulsar.
- Experience with stream-processing frameworks such as Flink or Spark is a plus.
- Proficiency writing and optimizing high-performance BigQuery queries for large datasets.
- Strong verbal and written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
