Responsibilities
- Architect and deliver complex, scalable frontend systems.
- Partner with Product Managers to define requirements and feature scope.
- Lead technical decisions and delivery for medium-to-large features.
- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through reviews and pair programming.
- Identify and resolve frontend bottlenecks, technical debt, and systemic issues.
- Drive best practices in React, TypeScript, and web performance optimization.
- Collaborate with Data Science and Backend Engineers on data flow and system reliability.
Requirements
- Deep software engineering specialization in modern JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience architecting complex state management systems using principles applicable to TanStack Query, Zustand, Redux, or MobX.
- Ability to design maintainable systems that manage significant complexity.
- Experience mentoring peers and teaching engineering patterns and best practices.
- Ability to write robust unit and integration tests using tools such as Jest, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Deep understanding of web performance, browser internals, and optimization for data-heavy applications.
- Product-oriented approach with the ability to challenge requirements and propose better solutions.
