Base Salary
$159k - $238k/yr
Responsibilities
- Manage and configure service mesh architectures for secure service communication.
- Oversee API gateway configurations for internal and external services.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using OIDC, OAuth2, and mTLS.
- Manage PKI and certificate lifecycles, including issuance and revocation.
- Deploy and manage mTLS within distributed systems and Kubernetes.
- Enforce security hardening and zero-trust architecture across workloads.
- Secure Kubernetes environments through access control and namespace isolation.
- Automate security processes and integrate them into code builds and deployments.
- Collaborate with product teams to define system requirements for cloud security applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages such as Python and Go.
- Experience with security governance frameworks and compliance controls.
- Hands-on experience with multi-cloud environments, particularly AWS and GCP.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
- Ability to detect security gaps and lead improvements in security tooling.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Technical certifications in security such as CISSP or CCSP are a plus.
