Responsibilities
- Advise EY Partners and senior client stakeholders on AI strategies, target architectures, risk appetite, and regulatory context.
- Own end-to-end architectures covering GenAI platforms, RAG, agents, copilots, ML platforms, model lifecycle management, data, integration, and API layers.
- Design secure, resilient, auditable, compliant AI architectures for complex enterprise and legacy environments.
- Lead technical oversight, escalation, production stabilization, and transition from proof of concept to scaled production.
- Implement responsible AI principles, governance frameworks, model risk controls, and human oversight with Risk, Legal, and Compliance teams.
- Support regulatory discussions, board reviews, regulator scrutiny, and external audit requirements.
- Support client growth, pursuits, proposals, technical demonstrations, and go-to-market activities.
- Guide multidisciplinary teams and establish coding standards, architectural patterns, and delivery best practices.
- Mentor technical teams, shape EY standards, and contribute to AI accelerators, frameworks, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and thought leadership.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in enterprise technology, architecture, or AI engineering roles.
- Proven experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI solutions in production environments.
- Advanced LLM and RAG engineering experience, including prompt pipelines, embeddings, vector stores, hybrid retrieval, grounding, hallucination mitigation, and evaluation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG architectures, AI orchestration, machine learning pipelines, and model lifecycle management.
- Experience in consulting, advisory, or large-enterprise delivery environments and demonstrated success with senior client stakeholders.
- Experience with data platforms, APIs, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing architectures on at least one major cloud platform, with Azure preferred and AWS or GCP accepted.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering, data science, architecture, product, and design teams through complex delivery cycles.
- Preferred experience in regulated industries such as financial services, public sector, health, or energy.
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and model risk management practices.
- Prior Big Four or global consultancy experience is preferred.
- Experience building or scaling AI platforms or internal developer ecosystems is preferred.
- Experience leading technical discovery sessions to define technology and hardware infrastructure requirements is preferred.
