Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-performance, available, secure, concurrent, and scalable backend systems for Joybuy.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks throughout project implementation.
- Develop control strategies covering monitorability, maintainability, and grey-release or rollback capabilities.
- Research, adopt, and promote new technologies and methodologies.
- Identify integration opportunities between emerging technologies and global system architectures.
- Collaborate with product management teams on software supporting marketing, ecosystem, fulfillment, and supply chain management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- At least 3 years of experience in Java programming and Spring Boot.
- Strong coding proficiency and a commitment to clean, elegant code.
- Interest in open-source projects and continuous improvement.
- Ability to independently identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, learning, and collaboration skills.
- Effective communication skills in both Chinese and English.
- Preferred: experience at a large-scale ecommerce company, with supplier and merchant tools, or in UK and European business.
