Base Salary

Responsibilities

Collaborate with engineers and the open-source community on feature and bug fix requests.
Proactively identify and resolve ambiguity in product requirements.
Manage time efficiently and thrive in a remote work environment.
Participate in communities of practice via Slack and GitHub Issues.
Integrate software products with existing defense systems.
Own architecture decisions and ensure technical quality across the team.
Participate in on-call rotation for the production environment.
Develop comprehensive documentation including design specifications and user manuals.
Contribute to Open Source Projects, especially within CNCF, ASF, or OpenSSF.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Provide technical mentorship and elevate engineering standards.

5+ years of experience in software engineering.
Experience building software tools focused on software lifecycle and management.
Proficient in Go, with proficiency in other modern programming languages being a plus.
Strong understanding of system design, APIs, databases, and cloud architecture.
Familiarity with OCI Specifications and Supply Chain Security.
Excited to assess complex problems and implement effective solutions.
Familiar with Core Kubernetes Concepts.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
