Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, support, and evolve software in a fast-paced development environment.
- Own features end to end from incubation through delivery.
- Work with product requirements, technology leaders, and architects to create implementation plans.
- Drive software quality, scalability, security, documentation, refactoring, and testing practices.
- Assess application performance and troubleshoot complex distributed systems.
- Review AI-generated code for architectural alignment, design quality, and performance bottlenecks.
- Mentor junior engineers and establish code-review, tooling, and engineering best practices.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, or M.E. with 8+ years of experience.
- Expertise in Java and related enterprise technologies.
- Expertise with Helm, Docker, Kubernetes, and at least one cloud service such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Expertise in RESTful web services and understanding of scalable distributed systems, data structures, and algorithms.
- Understanding of React or similar technologies.
- Expertise using AI code-assistance tools such as Claude or Cursor.
- Understanding of AI-assisted specification-driven development, context engineering, token optimization, and agent orchestration.
- Knowledge of MySQL or cloud databases, Linux distributions such as Debian or RHEL, secure coding, OWASP, OAuth, and protocols including HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SFTP, and GraphQL.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring skills.
