Responsibilities
- Design scalable Apache Camel integration architectures for secure, reliable communication between enterprise applications.
- Develop modular Java solutions and define integration patterns for routing, transformation, and error handling.
- Translate business requirements into technical architectures and review engineering designs for quality, security, and architectural alignment.
- Guide hybrid on-premises and cloud deployments while maintaining performance, reliability, observability, security, and compliance.
- Optimize Java and Apache Camel systems through profiling, tuning, and refactoring to improve throughput, latency, and stability.
- Document reference architectures, solution blueprints, and integration guidelines for consistent delivery.
- Provide architectural support during releases, incident reviews, and technical problem analysis.
- Mentor team members and drive continuous improvement through production metrics, user feedback, and architectural reviews.
Requirements
- 8–12 years of professional experience in complex enterprise environments, with significant solution or technology architecture responsibilities.
- Deep hands-on proficiency in Apache Camel, including routing, mediation, transformation, and integration with enterprise protocols and data formats.
- Strong Java expertise covering object-oriented design, concurrency, performance optimization, testing strategies, and modern Java frameworks.
- Substantial high-technology domain experience, including relevant products, services, data flows, and compliance considerations.
- Practical experience designing hybrid architectures spanning on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of integration patterns, microservices concepts, and event-driven approaches.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional stakeholders.
