Responsibilities
- Build and support modern cloud-based platforms for financial services projects.
- Write highly available, maintainable, and secure code.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor and train junior developers.
- Work with microservices, APIs, databases, continuous integration, containers, and cloud technologies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, senior partners, and clients.
Requirements
- Excellent knowledge of Java 8+, Spring Boot, Gradle, Maven, Mockito, and microservice architecture.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, functional programming languages, Java collections, and concurrency.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs and relational and NoSQL databases.
- Expertise in unit testing, static code analysis, and BDD/TDD practices.
- Experience with continuous integration using Git, Jenkins, and Nexus.
- Experience with container technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to conduct code reviews and mentor and train junior developers.
- Ability to write highly available, maintainable, and secure code and understand web and architectural design patterns.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Preferred knowledge of Terraform, event-driven architecture, Golang, serverless functions, cloud platforms, messaging systems, OAuth2, SAML, third-party integrations, QA automation tools, OWASP, the CAP theorem, and distributed systems design.
