Responsibilities
- Plan, build, and launch product features and APIs.
- Lead technical design and technology decisions across frontend and backend development.
- Improve the performance of existing software and evaluate emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, project management, and product management on user experiences, complexity analysis, and feature planning.
- Estimate development tasks and meet delivery deadlines.
- Troubleshoot CI/CD issues and maintain understanding of the deployment architecture.
- Provide escalation support and mentor junior development and QA resources.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience using current languages for web development.
- Required experience with frontend development, JavaScript, and React.
- Experience with dynamic languages such as Ruby on Rails.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL and relational database knowledge, with PostgreSQL experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts; AWS, containerization, and Kubernetes experience highly desired.
- Understanding of full-cycle software development and Agile methodologies.
- Ability to work in Mac/Linux environments.
- Required bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a similar equivalent discipline.
