Responsibilities
- Design, document, and maintain end-to-end software development processes, including coding standards, branching strategies, testing, release management, and deployment.
- Collaborate with engineering managers, team leads, product teams, and stakeholders to gather best practices and support adoption of tooling and processes.
- Translate technical workflows into documentation and visual aids such as flowcharts, process maps, checklists, and templates.
- Evaluate and introduce tools that improve developer experience, including feature flagging, local development environments, and code quality tools.
- Maintain a central, current, and version-controlled documentation repository.
- Define and document engineering standards and improve developer onboarding and setup processes.
- Measure improvements in lead time for changes, deployment frequency, developer satisfaction, and workflow clarity.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Developer Productivity roles.
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab CI.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Pulumi.
- Experience with cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and technical documentation skills for diverse audiences.
- Strong understanding of developer workflows and pain points.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
- English proficiency at B2+/C1 level.
- Visual documentation experience with tools such as Lucidchart, Miro, or Draw.io is a plus.
