Responsibilities
- Lead development of RaceWatch software for one or more motorsport series.
- Design, build, maintain, and enhance efficient, reliable, and reusable software.
- Work with product managers and customers to design features and prioritize tasks.
- Identify and deliver innovative software capabilities for motorsport customers.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor team members, and help anticipate customer needs.
- Ensure code quality, organization, reliability, and best practices throughout development.
- Support live motorsport events on weekends on a rotational basis.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a fast-paced technical environment delivering software to customers.
- Proven experience building applications in C/C++.
- Experience developing, scaling, and supporting products throughout their full lifecycle.
- Ability to work with complex data and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Passion for motorsport and ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
- A relevant computer science, scientific, or technical degree is preferred.
- Motorsport experience, RaceWatch experience, Windows application development in Visual Studio, video-processing experience, and familiarity with JIRA or Monday are preferred.
