Responsibilities
- Develop backend components for new features from feasibility through release.
- Design, implement, and operate scalable, observable, and maintainable backend solutions.
- Collaborate frequently with product, frontend, BI, marketing, and other colleagues.
- Review design documents and pull requests and propose improvements to team processes.
- Identify new challenges and create opportunities to contribute across the organization.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of team development experience.
- Programming skills in a general-purpose programming language, including or preferably Go.
- Knowledge of system design, including databases, caches, and message queues.
- Experience developing APIs and backend systems.
- Experience developing on public clouds such as AWS and GCP.
- Communication and documentation skills.
- A collaborative, product-minded approach to development.
- Strong motivation to learn Go and backend technologies.
