Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable web applications with robust backend systems for OTC financial instruments.
- Develop secure, maintainable solutions using C# and Angular.
- Drive legacy-system refactoring, modernization efforts, and migration to Azure.
- Design and develop REST APIs and complex backend architecture.
- Lead technical initiatives, create technical roadmaps, and collaborate with product management on feature development.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Promote software engineering best practices, including clean code, testing, and CI/CD.
- Communicate with stakeholders across business and technology domains and identify technical debt.
Requirements
- Excellent proficiency in C# and Angular for frontend and backend web application development.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and deployment, including a focus on cost optimization.
- Experience designing and implementing scalable web applications with complex backend logic.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs.
- Familiarity with legacy systems and modernization or refactoring projects is valued.
- Experience with functional programming or willingness to learn; knowledge of OCaml, Standard ML, F#, Scala, or Haskell is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in a multinational company focused on digital product development.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and motivation to work in the financial domain.
