Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy production-grade AI agents and workflows.
- Integrate LLMs with internal systems, APIs, and data sources.
- Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize and ship AI features.
- Own and improve RAG pipelines across multiple Pinecone namespaces.
- Build and maintain an evaluation framework for AI performance.
- Optimize model routing and tiering for improved unit economics.
- Instrument the AI layer for observability and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in shipping production software systems.
- 2+ years of experience building production RAG systems using vector databases.
- Experience deploying AI agents or multi-step LLM workflows in production.
- Experience building or contributing to an evaluation framework for LLM products.
- Proven ability to reduce LLM API costs in production.
- Familiarity with multiple LLM providers and their tradeoffs.
- Proficient in both TypeScript and Python.
