Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain monitoring, alerting, and observability for data pipelines and ETL/ELT workflows.
- Build Dynatrace dashboards, alerts, custom metrics, SLOs, and integrations for proactive issue detection.
- Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and long-term remediation efforts.
- Improve reliability through automation, performance tuning, resiliency practices, and operational toil reduction.
- Support and enhance Python-based data pipelines and frameworks.
- Design, optimize, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter and Cloud ETL workflows.
- Manage and optimize data ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.
- Collaborate with data engineering and analytics teams on data quality, consistency, and performance.
- Develop and maintain job scheduling and orchestration using Autosys and Airflow.
- Build automation for deployments, validations, and operational workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in SRE, data engineering, DevOps, or related fields.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Deep understanding of Snowflake architecture, performance tuning, and data-loading patterns.
- Strong Dynatrace experience, including dashboards, alerts, SLOs, custom metrics, integrations, and distributed-system monitoring.
- Understanding of SRE concepts, observability, and incident management.
- Experience with Autosys, Airflow, or similar orchestration tools is a bonus.
- Strong SQL skills and experience with large-scale data systems are preferred.
