Responsibilities
- Act as the technical subject matter expert for Elastic Search, Observability, and Security solutions.
- Engage customers, partners, and sales teams to understand requirements and map challenges to solution objectives.
- Design Elastic architectures for enterprise search, observability, logging, monitoring, APM, tracing, metrics, SIEM, threat detection, and security analytics.
- Lead discovery workshops, solution presentations, whiteboarding sessions, executive briefings, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts.
- Develop solution architectures, technical proposals, sizing recommendations, implementation approaches, RFP/RFI responses, and architecture diagrams.
- Support partners in securing, maintaining, upgrading, optimizing, and scaling Elasticsearch clusters.
- Develop ingestion pipelines, indexing and lifecycle strategies, search relevance improvements, vector indexing, embeddings, and RAG pipelines.
- Build and evaluate intelligent search assistants, enterprise knowledge retrieval systems, AI observability dashboards, and anomaly detection mechanisms.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Marketing, and Engineering to support pipeline growth and customer outcomes.
- Provide partner training, technical enablement, knowledge sharing, and mentoring for junior architects and presales engineers.
Requirements
- Proven experience in enterprise presales, solution consulting, or customer-facing architecture roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Elasticsearch, Kibana, Elastic Agent or Beats, Logstash, and Fleet Management.
- Experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale Elastic deployments, including data ingestion, indexing, querying, visualization, analytics, performance sizing, scalability, and high availability.
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, containers, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience with OpenTelemetry, observability architectures, security operations, SIEM workflows, threat hunting, detection rules, and security analytics.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered search, vector databases, semantic search, generative AI applications, MLOps, RAG pipelines, LLM integration, embeddings, and retrieval evaluation.
- Experience with Elastic Learned Sparse Encoder, Model Context Protocol, backend or frontend development using Java and Node.js, NoSQL queries, and Painless scripting.
- Ability to define SLI/SLO frameworks, build monitoring and alerting solutions, and develop predictive alerting and anomaly detection mechanisms.
- Strong technical discovery, presentation, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to create solution documents, HLD/LLD materials, proposals, and architecture diagrams.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- One of the following certifications is required: Elastic Certified Analyst, Elastic Certified Observability Engineer, Elastic Certified SIEM Analyst, or Elastic Certified Engineer.
