Responsibilities
- Determine user requirements with stakeholders and identify dependencies for products, applications, services, and platforms.
- Design, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code for maintainable, effective, high-performance software.
- Drive project plans, release plans, and work items in partnership with stakeholders and project managers.
- Serve as a Designated Responsible Individual, participate in on-call monitoring, and initiate recovery actions for service degradation, downtime, or interruptions.
- Improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance while driving consistent monitoring and operations at scale.
- Guide other engineers and collaborate with AI researchers and stakeholders on agentic application platform development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- 7+ years of experience designing, building, and operating production-grade software and services at scale.
- Proven track record of delivering high-impact software solutions.
- Expertise in complex technical challenges in areas such as distributed systems, AI/ML infrastructure, developer platforms, or cloud services is preferred.
- Experience engaging with customers during integration or deployment and incorporating feedback into product evolution is preferred.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
