Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and optimize middle-tier services and backend components using C# and .NET technologies.
- Build APIs and business logic layers for web and enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and maintain relational databases, with Oracle preferred.
- Write and optimize stored procedures, views, functions, complex queries, indexes, and database performance strategies.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, architects, and DevOps teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and apply clean architecture, SOLID principles, and maintainable coding practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues involving application logic and data layers.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and technical design discussions.
- Document technical designs and implementation details.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a technical discipline is required.
- 10 years of middle-tier and database development experience is required.
- Strong proficiency in C#, .NET, .NET Core/.NET 6+, and ASP.NET Web API is required.
- Experience building RESTful APIs and middle-tier services is required.
- Experience with SOLID principles, object-oriented design patterns, ORM frameworks, SQL, relational databases, complex queries, and stored procedures is required.
- Experience with Entity Framework or Dapper, Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, TFVC, and Git is required or preferred as specified.
- Must be a United States citizen with a DoD Secret clearance or the ability to obtain a favorably adjudicated T3 investigation.
- Preferred qualifications include microservices, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Azure, Redis, in-memory caching, performance profiling and monitoring, Docker, Kubernetes, and automated testing frameworks.
- Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Philadelphia, PA and be able to work at a computer for extended periods.
