Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance scalable front-end and back-end code across multiple platforms.
- Design and maintain program specifications and integrations across applications and databases.
- Analyze, test, and validate code changes, perform unit testing, and resolve defects.
- Collaborate with business teams, technology teams, stakeholders, clients, and partners on solution approaches and project delivery.
- Contribute to engineering standards, security practices, PCI compliance, estimation, documentation, and mentoring junior engineers.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience; 6+ years is preferred.
- Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on enterprise experience.
- Czech language proficiency at B1 level.
- Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, or .NET, plus working knowledge of JavaScript, React, or Angular.
- Experience building and integrating APIs and services, with knowledge of distributed systems, microservices, and relational or NoSQL databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2.
- Proficiency with Git, development environments, Spring, Node.js, and Linux, Windows, or mainframe systems.
- Ability to deliver secure, high-quality software in a PCI-compliant, high-volume payments environment.
- Preferred qualities include stakeholder partnership, ownership, curiosity, empathy, innovation, Agile practices, and experience fostering collaborative cross-functional teams.
