Base Salary
$170k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop systems to protect the platform.
- Balance risk and user experience by monitoring protective systems.
- Respond in real time to threats with event-driven pipelines.
- Contribute across the full development lifecycle from ideation to monitoring.
- Drive cross-team initiatives and communicate insights to leadership.
- Continuously evolve defenses against emerging abuse patterns.
Requirements
- 7+ years of total software engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience.
- 4+ years of experience building for consumer-scale loads.
- 1+ years of production code experience in Python.
- 1+ years of experience in Trust and Risk or related domains preferred.
- Strong business intuition and data-driven mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and lead initiatives across product areas.
- Comfort with data warehouses and transformation tools.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
