Base Salary
$61k - $104k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop complex stock plan services applications on a mainframe platform running in a z/OS environment.
- Gather requirements, design application-level architecture, develop software, and perform end-to-end and system testing.
- Perform mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning to reduce I/O, CPU time, MSUs, and MIPS.
- Provide onsite and on-call support, serve as a subject matter expert, and participate in crisis management.
- Lead collaborative sessions, ceremonies, technical evaluations, and cross-functional project activities.
- Review test plans, ensure QA readiness, coordinate schedules and assignments, and produce comprehensive documentation.
- Resolve technical roadblocks, recommend improvements, manage project risks, and help deliver projects on time and on budget.
- Act as a liaison for business units and collaborate with management and team members on technology solutions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise defining, developing, and leading interactive teams implementing scalable application solutions.
- Demonstrated expertise in mainframe application development, automation, and support using COBOL, CICS, DB2, JCL, VSAM, MQ-Series, and SQL.
- Demonstrated expertise in mainframe performance tuning and capacity planning using Strobe, iStrobe, and Platinum Detector.
- Experience with File-AID, Endeavor, Intertest, Abend-AID, and Control-M for file comparison, version management, debugging, unit testing, and job scheduling.
- Ability to perform complex technical and functional analysis across multiple projects and initiatives.
- Ability to lead architecture and development efforts while ensuring scalability, extensibility, and compliance with established standards.
