Responsibilities
- Participate in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs.
- Identify, analyze, and resolve application issues and recommend system enhancements.
- Write basic code, conduct testing and debugging, and use script tools to support design specifications.
- Provide application support, troubleshooting, incident resolution, interface development, system integration, and batch monitoring.
- Analyze business and system processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop working knowledge of information systems, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications.
- Assess risk, maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and escalate and report control issues.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience working with the Openlink Endur/ION Endur platform.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Energy Trading & Risk Management concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Java development and customization.
- Good understanding of SQL and Oracle databases.
- Experience in application support, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
- Knowledge of trade lifecycle, settlements, risk management, and reporting processes.
- Exposure to interface development, system integrations, and batch monitoring.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Preferred exposure to OpenJVS, AVS, or Endur configuration.
- Preferred experience supporting or enhancing applications in commodity or energy trading environments.
- Understanding of Oil, Gas, Power, LNG, or commodity trading business processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
