Responsibilities
- Design and maintain Terraform compositions and reusable modules for Azure resources including AKS, ACR, SQL Managed Instance, Key Vault, VNets, and Application Gateway.
- Deploy and manage private Kubernetes clusters with RBAC, cert-manager, ingress controllers, namespace isolation, and Terraform-managed resources.
- Develop, customize, version, and integrate Helm charts for consistent application deployments across environments.
- Build reusable Azure DevOps YAML pipeline templates using a script-first, config-driven deployment approach.
- Develop configuration generators and schema validation systems that produce Terraform tfvars and pipeline definitions.
- Write production-quality PowerShell modules with structured patterns, error handling, logging, and testable code.
- Use AI coding agents and contribute to prompt engineering and agent configuration for team workflows.
- Support isolated deployments across development, UAT, staging, and production environments for multiple clients.
- Operate multi-tier container registry workflows spanning Artifactory, Central ACR, and Environment ACR with secure image promotion and digest-based deployments.
- Implement secure infrastructure patterns involving private endpoints, network segmentation, managed identities, Key Vault, and TLS certificate management.
- Write and maintain infrastructure and PowerShell tests using Pester.
- Document infrastructure patterns, deployment procedures, operational playbooks, and coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and DevOps practices in production environments.
- Strong Terraform proficiency, including module development, state management, workspace patterns, provider configuration, and Kubernetes resource management.
- Demonstrated experience with Azure services including AKS, ACR, SQL Managed Instance, Key Vault, Virtual Networks, Application Gateway, and Managed Identities.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes deployments, services, ingress, RBAC, Helm charts, cert-manager, and private cluster configurations.
- Strong experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, including YAML templates, template hierarchies, variable groups, and service connections.
- Proficiency in PowerShell, including module development patterns, error handling, and Pester testing; Bash familiarity is a plus.
- Experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or similar tools, including prompt engineering.
- Understanding of network security, private endpoints, managed identities, certificate management, and secure secrets handling.
- Preferred experience in wealth management or financial services, including compliance and audit requirements.
- Preferred experience with config-driven infrastructure, code generation, Windows and Linux container workloads, F5 XC, NGINX ingress, Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, Git workflows, Terragrunt, and AI agent configuration.
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-400, or AZ-305, or HashiCorp Terraform certification, are preferred.
